Valentine’s Day Gifts for Him?

Valentine’s Day was always a “Mom and Daughter” holiday and never a “Couples” holiday because none of the couples around me celebrated it. Boys in my class never put Valentines in my little mailbox when we exchanged them at the end of the day in school (it’s fine, I’m FINE… I DON’T HOLD ONTO THIS AT ALL)

I honestly always thought of Valentine’s Day as Galentine’s Day. When I was an RA in college, I even hosted an all-ladies event on Valentine’s Day that I called “Galentine’s Day” one year with one of my fellow RA’s. Then a year later, in the second season of Parks n’ Recreation, Leslie Knope hosted her first Galentine’s Day brunch. I’m not saying that I came up with the idea, lol, BUT I was excited to see that it was going to become a “mainstream” idea.

Valentine’s Day for me was always a gift from my mom and a gift from my grandma. I loved that!

As I got older - my girlfriends and I usually did cute little things for each other. Why? Why depend on a man to get you gifts? They are usually waiting until the last minute to pick something up anyway! They aren’t putting any thought into it most of the time unless they’re proposing and that’s (hopefully, anyway) a one time deal.

Now that I’m an adult woman who is married to a frankly, wonderful man who actually is thoughtful (You’ve read our bios, right? I’m talking about Thomas) and we have our daughters Scarlett & Evie: Do you think we do Valentine’s Day? No. hahaha. No, we don’t. Would we if I told him I wanted to? Yes. But it’s just never been a day we celebrated.

My mom can be counted on to get a cute little gift for Evie & Scarlett (just like my grandma does), my mom gets me a little card, my grandma gets me a card, and Thomas and I pick out a cute box of candy for the girls and create them an over-the-top balloon arrangement. They love it.

Valentine’s Day gifts for the kids are something I don’t think people really think about often - when I mention that my mom and grandma used to get me a present for Valentine’s Day growing up, other parents are usually like “Aw… that’s sweet. I should get something for my kids… I usually just depend on something from my husband”

My point is - ladies - why wait for the man to handle this? Get a Valentine’s Day gift for her by ordering through our store. Who is her? Order something for your mom, grandma, daughters (and sons), or your best friend Bev.
You could also order something for yourself - why not get yourself some cute balloon flowers? Hello, have you seen them? They are freaking adorable!!!

What about ordering a Valentine’s Day gift for him? Did you see those personalized bouquets? Surprise your man with a little phrase you say to each other… maybe it’s a pet name, maybe it’s something you say to each other privately… we are NOT shy. We’ll put whatever you want on that balloon.
